Location is good, ambiance is good, tai ice tea has chocolate in it, not good. Pad Thai is delicious, also red curry duck and beef is good. We had the unhappiest female server. For 2 pad Thai, 2 red curry duck and beef , + 3 drinks paid 576 chinese Yen, CNY , like 76 usd. Will I come here again? Probably no.
I order hot sauce on the side which made the difference

We were at Anfu Lu to catch a play at the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre and decided to fill our tummies beforehand. With so many dining options in the area, we chose to satisfy our Thai craving, especially since Mi Thai is featured in the Michelin Guide Shanghai as a Bib Gourmand restaurant. The restaurant delivered. The food was authentic, tasty, and spicy without being overwhelming. I was particularly impressed by the duck red curry — flavourful, rich and creamy. We got a seat easily without a reservation, and service was prompt and attentive. It was exactly what we needed before the curtain call.
