Highly recommended, amazing food, great service and wonderful show. Takes you through the Chinese cuisine across different areas. You will definitely be full and happy after it is done. Some food will be slightly spicy, but mostly it is quite mild. Loved the whole experience and I recommend it.
Everything was good, good food good service good show. Very delightful experience, me and my family enjoyed the food as well as the performances. Here you will be served with all Chinese Cuisine with different regions of China, from the South to North, Wast to West and the central of China. I would prefer this Taste of China than those Palace dining because lesser crowds and not too rush with all the dishes. The only down side was the location is a bit hard to find, it is located at the basement and we never expect the entrance to be facing the super busy main road.
We've been in Shanghai for three weeks and have done so much amazing sightseeing and food exploring, but this place totally topped everything for us! The whole experience at TASTE OF CHINA was engaging, educational, and super fun. We loved the Tang Dynasty style outfits—it felt like stepping back in time. And oh my, the Beijing Duck was absolutely incredible! All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Seriously, go!!! You don’t wanna miss this.
Excellent time at TASTE OF CHINA! Took the family there last weekend and we all had a blast. The menu is like a little passport – you get to “travel” through different dishes from all over China, which my kids thought was the coolest thing. We also got to try on these gorgeous traditional Chinese outfits. The staff helped us put everything on and even did our hair to match – felt like we were part of the show! And speaking of the show… the Shaolin kung fu performance was unreal.
We had such a relaxing and fun evening at TASTE OF CHINA! Trying on all the traditional Chinese outfits was definitely a highlight—we took so many photos. The Jiangnan Four Delicacies platter was both beautiful and delicious. The tea ceremony afterwards felt so peaceful and we learned a lot about Chinese tea culture. Highly recommend if you want to experience local traditions in a comfortable way!
