⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give 6 stars, I absolutely would! Dining at Dragon Phoenix Restaurant at the iconic Peace Hotel in Shanghai was nothing short of legendary. This is truly a restaurant in a class of its own and, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I have had. From the moment you step in, the ambience is top notch — elegant, sophisticated and steeped in old-world Shanghai charm. The setting alone makes the experience feel special, but the food takes it to another level. Every dish was presented not only with taste in mind, but as a visual feast. The attention to detail, presentation and artistry were exceptional, with each plate looking almost too beautiful to eat. The menu is also extremely extensive, offering an impressive range of dishes and flavours. The service was impeccable throughout — attentive, polished and professional without ever being intrusive. Reservations are essential, and I had to book several weeks in advance, which says a lot about its popularity. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Legendary ambience, exquisite food, impeccable service and timeless elegance. Best of the best! 🏆🥢✨
We didn’t know that the roasted duck only come with very crunchy skin (no meat). The food still great anyway. However we still want to try the meat.. Really nice view ❤️
Tried this restaurant on the last day of my first SH visit. With my wife. V fine Shanghai food. The best century egg dish we have even had. V delicious cold duck dish: intense sauce but not salty…exceptional tea service.
Had a wonderful dining experience at Dragon Phoenix. The restaurant beautifully combines classic old Shanghai elegance with refined Chinese cuisine in a very sophisticated setting. Service was attentive and professional throughout the meal, and the dishes were beautifully presented with excellent flavors and high quality ingredients. A great choice for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience while visiting the Fairmont Peace Hotel or the Bund area.
