we were in Shanghai for 5 Days on a 14 Day China trip September 2025. We lived in the Hotel just around the corner and while on a late night walk we saw this Entrance down to a basement... Harleys Underground. We didn't know what we would find down the long stairs, but we said, we want to go in places where the locals go! So down the stairs we went and found this bar. We were there the next 3 evenings again and although its not the typical bar where you would meet foreigners, we met some and had great conversations with them! We had great Beer and great Cocktails. And if we ever make it back to Shanghai... we will visit this place again. The personell there were always friendly, the guests and all together.. We met friendly, courteous people in china, who were often just as curious as we were! SO PLEASE PEOPLE ... go to China, Visit the country and have an Eye opening moment. China is Beautiful and modern and old and friendly and so much more. We will never ever forget our visit there and we WANT to go back again.
