First time visiting Shanghai, my wife booked this one as our first dinner. Set dinner, v good, delicious noodle, we added a duck blood/ pig gut hot pot: amazing!! Have to come and try!
Most of the food was good and some dishes were sublime. The seas visible with wild rice was amazing
The service was very good and the food was tasty. The presentation did reach dish was elegant but I don't see how it warrants a Michelin star. I'm glad I tried it but probably still not return.
Sleek, modern restaurant on the Bund with a Michelin star serving elegant, contemporary Shanghainese cuisine. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, and the service is quietly efficient. The food manages to be a reimagining of traditional Shanghai cuisine - with its focus on scrupulously fresh seafood and light, lively flavours - without being overly showy or fusion-y. The sweet river shrimp were a delight, as were the fried mandarin fish fillets, the meltingly soft tofu skin appetizer, and the wagyu beef ribs. The star for us was the eel rice served crunchy in a traditional clay pot.
