Food is not prepared fresh… I ordered the thai squid, beef stir-fry with egg and a salad. The fried egg was cold, en the squid was super chewy and also had cold pieces. Parts of the rice also stuck together as if it was microwaved. It was clear that this food was pre-made and re-heated. I pointed it out to the staff, saw the chef make a face, and after some back-and-forth (initial denial from the servers) got a second attempt. The food tasted all right, but nothing special. It’s missing key authentic ingredients and flavors. (For example there was no real Thai basil) I will say that the plating was nice and the vibe in the restaurant was trendy and cool. Not a fan of the loud Western pop music but to each their own. Lot of young Chinese couples, which was cute.
Vibrant atmosphere, minimal waiting time to be seated, great menu - delicious meals. Drinks / Cocktail list is extensive. The aesthetic of the serve ware and presentation is really nice. Meals arrive quickly, probably the best Thai curry I’ve ever had - creamy and fresh ingredients.
