Had lunch here and the crab was beyond expectation. My father commented that the lobster meat was extremely sweet too. Even the regular looking salad turned out to be surprisingly enjoyable. Just to note though, the black pepper sauce here is different from the regular ones in Singapore so I was a little taken a back at first. It does indeed have that dashi flavour instead. Just to note though, these black pepper curry squid tasted too Indian for me and I couldn’t finish the bite. Then again, it was not my choice but something dad’s Chinese friend ordered. Those aside, it is located in a great location and looked lovely. In particular, I love how the floor was tiled in not just regular black and white squares but made of tiny little ones. New idea for how I’d like to renovate a part of my home I our country. Yup I chose the wrong kind of black and white for that part 😫 After posting it on IG, a friend commented that there’s a location available in our home country too. I’ll take my mother there next.
Good vibe with great food and service. A bit pricy but worth it. Very beautiful place inside people s park, sit at center of Shanghai close to Nanjing rd. Recommend to reserve before going. Pretty busy place.
A bit hard to find at night, but great service and really great food.
