Inferno - Metal
Shanghai
At a glance
Inferno's brand new incarnation might be a little less rough around the edges, but make no mistake - it's still metal to the core.Inferno is not your usual rock bar. Remodeled from an abandoned public bath house, this cool venue might even be a bit too 'stylish' or too 'loungy' for some die-hard rock music fans. Its minimalist interior is bathed in warm, yellow light, and there is even a pool table in the middle.
Beers are cheap, with bottled Tsingtao at 20 RMB and draft Tiger/Carlsberg beer at 35 RMB. If you're feeling fancy, a small range of craft beers are availabe, such as Duvel (45 RMB) and Rogue Dead Guy (40 RMB). Succebus (55 RMB), one of the signature cocktails here, is popular with rock chicks, which is a refreshing concoction of raspberry vodka, grape juice and cranberry juice.
Added bonus - the revamped Inferno has a fully functioning kitchen too, and is open from lunch until 02:00 on weekdays and simply until the fun runs dry on Friday and Saturday.
