Highly recommended for parties of 6+ so you can try more food. Super delicious and will want to go back next time I’m in Shanghai! Great atmosphere, private rooms for every booking, and really top notch service from before arrival (booking) to AFTER the dining experience. There was a slight hiccup in the payment but someone had handled it almost immediately. I had already left Shanghai but he had given me peace of mind by transferring money back to me before his team clarified my issue. Overall amazing experience!!
25Dec2025 This was our first time here. The front of the restaurant does not look like a Michelin restaurant. But when you go inside, it is well decorated in traditional style. We ordered their signature dishes and it was too much for us. They tasted good especially the fried fish. The chicken would be an even better if was boneless. There need to be a minimum spending of 500B per person. Overall it was a pleasant experience 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Had a reservation because a local friend recommended eating here. The foods are delicious from start to finish. Dish highlights were fried sharks fin with hairy crab, steamed yellow croaker, stir-fry Shanghai shrimp, and the seaweed walnut pastry 10 out of 10. Superb!
Located on Zhenning Road, Jingan, Shanghai in the former French quarter of old Shanghai, China. It is a Michelin recommended restaurant. Prices are expensive, but food tastes great, so is the service. A beautiful tiled entrance, wood panelling and striking light fittings are just some of the original features of this 1920s townhouse. Its 16 traditionally furnished private rooms evoke old Shanghai charm. The food is equally sophisticated: river shrimp are made to order; the smoked mackerel belly dressed in a mildly sweet glaze is crisp but juicy. No meal here is complete without the cashew praline puff pastry.
