Look, its pretty slim pickings in Shanghai. Not as many ex pat bars as youd think. Its definitely an Aussie bar with an excellent vibe. Its not cheap but for expats not too expensive either. Lots of events and a real sense on expat community.
This is my American friend Jacob's favourite hangout spot. We always meet there, especially since he moved to Vietnam and on his short visits back to China.
Came here for the Champions League Final game night on 30 May; it was super crowded but staff still tried their best to serve us the food and beer. Special shoutout to a lady manning the order system near the door around 11pm+. We got our drinks fast, thanks to her.
Nice atmosphere, good drinks. Finally got to play on the pool table after a long wait, and was told we couldn't play, the staff were finishing up, the people playing before us was told but we weren't. The staff were putting the balls down before we had a chance to speak. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to play pool.
