We tried this crab roe noodle restaurant for the first time, and we absolutely fell in love with the food. The crab roe noodles were incredibly rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was packed with fresh seafood taste, and you could really tell that quality ingredients were used.
First time here and I’m very impressed. The food is delicious. The crab oil noodles are rich in flavor and not greasy at all. The xiaolongbao is also very good, with sweet and flavorful soup inside. The price is reasonable. Highly recommend this place if you visit Shanghai.
Tried the roe crab noodles and xiaolongbao at 欲兴记 in the Tianzifang branch inside a building opposite the Tianzifang Old Street and it was a very satisfying experience. The roe crab noodles were rich and indulgent, coated generously with fragrant crab roe and crab meat. The sauce was savoury and umami-forward, clinging perfectly to the noodles without being overly heavy. Each bite was full of crab flavor, making it clear why this dish is so popular. The xiaolongbao complemented the noodles well, delicate skin, juicy broth inside, and well-balanced seasoning. Steaming hot and comforting, they were done properly with good technique. Overall, a great spot to enjoy classic Shanghainese crab roe noodles and xiaolongbao while exploring Tianzifang. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.
We came here for breakfast at around 9am, there wasn't much people. We could walk in. 5 of us, we followed google reviews and ordered the set of 2x noodles with crab roe, comes with 1 佛跳牆, 2 soup, sweet and sour fried fish. Its really delicious. Worth the trip. 5 of us, RMB 400+. Free ginger tea! Oh... no toilets. You will have to visit the building beside to use toilet at L3 (stairs)
