Your tour begins at Yuyuan Garden, where you will participate in a traditional tea tasting. Accompany your tea with delicate dim sum specialties from south of the Yangtze River while enjoying the garden’s classical design.
Next, visit the City God Temple (Chenghuang Miao) to take part in a traditional incense offering ritual. Honor the City God, who has protected Shanghai since the Ming Dynasty, by presenting incense and candles while praying for peace, health, and prosperity.
