Arrive an hour early for complimentary makeup and costume service, choosing from three floors of period clothing including cheongsams, velvet dresses, gowns, and accessories like pearl necklaces and top hats. Makeup artists create vintage-inspired looks with hairstyles tailored to your features, transforming you into a Republican Era lady or gentleman.
The dinner features a set menu of Shanghai fusion cuisine. Each dish is introduced by a projection telling its backstory, adding ritual and context. Recommended dishes include Pu'er Braised Pork with Abalone, Cognac Foie Gras, and Black Pepper 5A Snow Beef Cubes. The meal concludes with jasmine milk jelly, a light and fragrant dessert.
The banquet hall recreates the 1930s Paramount atmosphere with crystal chandeliers, gramophones, and neon signs. Actors in period costumes perform the drama 'Evening Shanghai,' sometimes involving guests with exclusive mission cards for interactive scenes.
