Engage with traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage in this immersive workshop located in Shanghai’s Former French Concession. Select from crafts such as Chinese Knot making, Mother-of-Pearl Inlay Jewelry, Gold Foil Burning Art, Song Brocade & Pearl Fan Crafting, Han Dynasty Tile End Rubbing, Bamboo Weaving Wind Chimes, Seal Incense Art, Ancient Papermaking, Blue-and-White Porcelain Paper-Cutting, imperial-style diancui pieces, Song brocade decorations, and Chinese Calligraphy.
Each craft reflects the philosophy of personal and heartfelt creation, providing a cultural dialogue beyond words. The workshop is available in two options:
- Option 1: Workshop only, meeting at Exit 1, Dapuqiao Station, Metro Line 9
- Option 2: Workshop plus guided tasting of authentic Shanghai snacks
