Welcome to the Bank of Communications Yaoxue Ice & Snow World, a world-class indoor ice and snow resort located by Dishui Lake in the Lin-gang Special Area of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone. With a total construction area of approximately 350,000 square meters, this landmark destination is jointly invested by Shanghai Lujiazui Group and Shanghai Gangcheng Development Group. The resort features a Guinness World Record-certified largest indoor ski resort in the world, with the certified area reaching 98,828.7 square meters. The temperature inside the ski hall is maintained at around -5°C throughout the year, offering a full-immersion winter wonderland experience regardless of the season, inspired by the majestic Alps. The Snow World spans over 90,000 square meters and is home to the world's largest indoor real-snow ski resort, featuring 4 ski slopes with a vertical drop of nearly 60 meters – equivalent to 16 stories – and a total length of close to 1,200 meters. The slopes range from a beginner's teaching slope to advanced black-diamond runs, and also include China's first 3D S-shaped slope, which stretches 460 meters long. Beyond skiing, the area offers over 20 snow play attractions, including China's first indoor snow train – the Snow Country Train – as well as the flying snow glider and a beautifully themed Nordic-style snow village, making it a paradise for families and non-skiers alike. The Water World covers approximately 20,000 square meters and is designed with a Viking theme across two tiers. It features 26 water slides, including thrilling through-floor slides and an outdoor suspended water slide known as the 'Suspended Challenge,' which stands over 23 meters tall and allows riders to reach speeds of up to 8.6 meters per second. With nearly 20 water attractions suitable for all ages, the water park offers a perfect blend of excitement and relaxation for everyone. The resort is also complemented by three star-rated themed hotels, including 17 exclusive ski-in/ski-out suites that provide direct slope access from guest balconies. Additional facilities include a championship-level Olympic-standard ice rink, a multi-functional convention center, and an ice-and-snow-themed commercial town offering a wide range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options – all in one integrated destination.
