Description
We will start with the historic Bund and the former British Consulate, then walk to the iconic 400-year-old Yu Garden. Next, we’ll board a scenic public ferry across the Huangpu River to step right into Pudong’s futuristic skyline, ending up close with the famous 'Top 3 Skyscrapers' (including Shanghai Tower). Along the way, we’ll take a relaxing mid-tour break to savor authentic local delicacies.
Stop 1: Former British Consulate & The Bund (~1 h)
Explore the exterior of the Victorian-style Former British Consulate. Stroll the Bund to admire 19th-century architecture alongside views of the modern skyline across the river.
Stop 2: Yu Garden & Food Break (~1.5 hours)
Walk to the 400-year-old Yu Garden and its vibrant bazaar. Halfway through, we’ll sit down for a relaxing food break to sample delicious local specialties (e.g., Xiaolongbao).
Stop 3: Huangpu River Ferry Ride (~30 minutes)
Board a local public ferry across the Huangpu River. Enjoy panoramic breeze-filled views of both old and new Shanghai from the water.
Stop 4: Lujiazui 'Big Three' Skyscrapers (~1 h)
Walk the elevated promenade in Pudong for stunning, close-up photos of the iconic Shanghai Trio: Jin Mao Tower, SWFC, and the towering Shanghai Tower, where our tour ends smoothly
