Description
Your day begins with hotel pickup within Shanghai’s Central Ring. The first stop is Yuyuan Garden, a classical Chinese garden featuring pavilions, rockeries, ponds, and detailed artistry from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
From there, walk to the City God Temple area to experience traditional architecture and the lively market atmosphere, spending about 30 minutes exploring.
At approximately 12:30 PM, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving authentic Shanghai dishes.
After lunch, visit Xintiandi, where old Shikumen architecture meets contemporary shops and cafés along cobblestone streets.
Next, travel to Shanghai Tower. Take the elevator to its observation deck to view the city skyline, including the Huangpu River and the Bund.
Continue with a stroll along the Bund promenade to see historical European-style buildings beside modern skyscrapers.
