Description

We hope that orders can be placed at least 24 hours ahead of the cut-off time, so that we can have more time to prepare and ensure a pleasant experience for you. In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Shanghai and drive you to Wuzhen Water Town, which is listed among the first batch of the famous Historical and Cultural Towns in China. Typically, it's about two hours' drive from downtown Shanghai to Wuzhen. In Wuzhen you can visit many ancient buildings and cultural sites, including: Bailian Pagoda: Built during the Song Dynasty, it is the tallest building in Wuzhen; visitors can climb up the pagoda to enjoy a panoramic view of the town. Indigo Fabric Workshop: Famous for blue calico, it is a must-visit spot in Wuzhen. Visitors can watch workers dyeing and printing on fabrics here, or pay extra to make a souvenir by themselves. Bridge Within a Bridge: This spot is created by two stone arch bridges, Tongji Bridge and Renji Bridge. One bridge can be seen through the arch of the other, making it one of the most iconic attractions in Wuzhen. At noon, we will take you to enjoy Chinese cuisine, such as wontons and noodles. Lunch is typically ordered by us, but if you would like to order dishes yourself or purchase other street snacks, you will need to pay for them yourself. In the afternoon, we will arrange a boat tour for you. Taking a hand-rowed boat, you can admire ancient houses and stone bridges and their reflections in the water, experiencing the leisurely and carefree lifestyle in the Jiangnan Region. At the end of the tour, we will drive you back to Shanghai.
