Description
Choose between our morning or afternoon sessions:
Morning: 09:00 – 12:00
Afternoon: 14:00 – 17:00
Stop 1: Rockbund | 洛克·外滩源 (40 mins)
The Origin Point: We begin at No. 1 Waitanyuan (外滩源1号), the former British Consulate and the oldest building on the Bund. This is where modern Shanghai was born.
Architectural Splendor: Admire the True Light Building (真光大楼), an Art Deco masterpiece by legendary architect Ladislaus Hudec.
Cultural Immersion: Step inside the Rockbund Art Museum (外滩美术馆), where contemporary art meets historic industrial design.
Modern Chinese Brands: Discover 'New China' aesthetics with brief intros to:
ToSummer (观夏): Eastern botanical fragrances.
Songmont (松): Heritage-meets-modern handbags.
TANGSUO (塘所): Minimalist Eastern lifestyle.
Note: Restrooms are available at the Associate Mission Building (协进大楼).
Stop 2: Zhapu Road Bridge Area | 乍浦路桥片区 (40 mins)
The 'Gate of Shanghai': Visit the Shanghai Postal Museum to find the stunning 'Shanghai Gate (上海之门)' courtyard—the city's most cinematic photo spot.
Financial Legacy: At the Museum of Securities, experience the old stock exchange via VR (1F) and view original Fortune 500 stock certificates (2F).
Century-Old Bridges: Walk the Waibaidu Bridge (外白渡桥), China’s first all-steel bridge, then stop at Zhapu Road Bridge (乍浦路桥) for the ultimate 'Old vs. New' skyline photo.
Stop 3: The Bund Promenade | 外滩观景平台 (10 mins)
Skyline Overview: From this vantage point, see the contrast: the 'Museum of International Architecture' on the left (Puxi) and the 'Wall Street of the East' on the right (Pudong).
Stop 4: The Bund Waterfront | 十里洋场 (30 mins)
The Legend of Peace: Enter the lobby of the Peace Hotel (和平饭店). Known as the 'Number One Mansion in the Far East,' its Jazz Age interiors evoke 1930s glamour.
Bund No. 1: Check out the Asia Building (亚细亚大楼). Labeled as 'No. 1 on the Bund,' its facade marks the start of the waterfront’s architectural evolution.
Stop 5: Cross-River Ferry | 轮渡过江 (20 mins)
An Authentic Journey: Skip the tourist cruises and board the local ferry used by daily commuters. It is the most authentic way to feel the river's scale and enjoy the open-deck breeze.
Stop 6: The Lujiazui 'Trio' | 陆家嘴三件套 (20 mins)
The Giants' Base: Head to the base of China’s three tallest buildings: Shanghai Tower (上海中心大厦), World Financial Center (环球金融中心), and Jin Mao Tower (金茂大厦). We’ll show you the best 'worm's-eye view' spots for vertical photography.
Optional Wrap-up: The tour ends here. You may:
Stroll Riverside Avenue (滨江大道) for coffee with a view.
Visit an observation deck to see the city from the clouds (tickets purchased independently).
