Reviews
本帮菜. Very old school family style dishes. In general every dish is decent and surprisingly, the Bull Frog was the best for me. Am glad to have friends to have dinner together else it wouldn't be possible for me to try this restaurant as all their dishes are family size meant for sharing.
This place serves delicious food. But, it may not be for everyone. Firstly they need to make it safer. The floor is ridiculously oily and slippery. I don't belief no diner has fallen from slipping. Someone must have slipped and fell. Hopefully no one was injured. Decor is fairly underwhelming and is just functional at best. Luckily I enjoyed their food. In general, their food is oily. Flavours are heavy but balanced. All 8 dishes I ordered were above average and I enjoyed them all. They all came to the table freshly cooked and hot. Even the rice was steaming. This is a signature requirement for a good meal. In the end I left with a full stomach and satisfied palate, gingerly stepping on the floor, with a fear of falling as I navigated slowly my way out.
Food was absolutely delish. In particular, their 干锅牛蛙。The meat was lightly battered and fried and tossed with fried lotus, chips and dried chilli. Crab meat with tofu is also a must order, dont forget to pair with piping hot rice for the perfect combo.
Great food for reasonable prices! Having dinner twice during trip. Usually crowded and expect some waiting time. Staff is friendly and helpful
