Description
Your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and start our tour. We will take the public transportation to the first stop at Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum. It was established in 2007, and tells the history of European Jewish refugees who came to Shanghai in the 1930s and 1940s to escape Nazi persecution and shared weal and woes with the Chinese people. Next, we'll go to the Huoshan Park. During World War II, it became a place for Jewish refugees living in Hongkou to rest and gather around. Then, pass through the former site of the Joint Relief Association, a key organization that provided aid and managed affairs within the refugee neighborhood. Go on the tour to the Shanghai City Mart in Linong Lane where is the best place to travel back to the 1970 to 1980 of Shanghai. It vividly recreates the daily life of the period and is a must-see for anyone interested in authentic local culture. The tour will ends at the Peace Hotel.Includes
