Description

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Shanghai hotel. We'll then travel to Zhujiajiao, one of Shanghai's most famous water towns. First, you'll take a traditional boat ride through the ancient waterways, followed by a stroll through the old streets, admiring the traditional architecture and listening to your guide recount the town's rich history. In the evening, we visited local residents and learned how to make traditional Chinese dumplings, which symbolize reunion and good fortune in Chinese culture. We enjoyed our homemade dumplings for dinner. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet a local calligraphy master who holds a Guinness World Record. Watch the master demonstrate his skills live and experience Chinese calligraphy under his guidance. In the evening, we will tour the Bund, one of Shanghai's most iconic landmarks. We will admire the stunning skyline, experience the magnificent blend of historical and modern architecture, and learn about Shanghai's transformation from a small port city into an international metropolis.
