Description

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Shanghai hotel. Head to a local family-run home and enjoy coffee while experiencing the fun of making dumplings by hand. Learn to make traditional Chinese dumplings and taste your creation. You can also try your hand at Chinese calligraphy. Next, take a high-speed train to Suzhou to experience the efficiency and convenience of China's modern transportation system. Upon arrival in Suzhou, visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of classical Chinese garden design. Continue to the historic Pingjiang Road, a cultural street that retains the traditional charm of a water town. Board a wooden sightseeing boat and cruise slowly along the ancient canal, passing teahouses, snack shops, and handicraft stores. As night falls, take a stroll along Pingjiang Road. Lanterns illuminate the streets, and the air is filled with the aroma of local snacks, creating a romantic atmosphere. You can sample local delicacies, enjoy tea while admiring the scenery, and also purchase handmade souvenirs. Finally, we took a private car back to Shanghai and comfortably returned to our hotel, ending our day's itinerary.
