Architectural Marvel Completed in 1994, the tower stands at 468 meters (1,535 feet), making it one of the tallest structures in China. Designed by architect Jiang Huan Chen, the tower's unique appearance is inspired by a classical Chinese poem describing 'large and small pearls dropping onto a jade plate.' Its structure consists of three main sections: The Lower Sphere – A key observation deck at 263 meters with stunning city views. The Middle Sphere (Revolving Restaurant) – Situated at 267 meters, offering a 360-degree rotating dining experience. The Upper Sphere (Space Capsule) – The highest observatory at 351 meters, providing an unparalleled panoramic view of Shanghai. Observation Decks & Glass-Floor Experience Visitors can access multiple observation decks: Transparent Skywalk (259 meters) – A glass-floored walkway giving a thrilling sensation of walking in the air. Space Capsule (351 meters) – The highest viewpoint for a bird’s-eye perspective of the city. Main Observation Deck (263 meters) – Perfect for capturing stunning photos of the Huangpu River and Shanghai skyline. Shanghai History Museum Located at the base of the tower, the Shanghai History Museum showcases the city's transformation from a fishing village to a global metropolis. It features life-size dioramas, historical photographs, and immersive exhibits, providing visitors with an in-depth understanding of Shanghai’s rich past. Thrilling Rides & Experiences VR Roller Coaster – A high-tech virtual reality ride that lets you experience extreme thrills. Space Capsule Ride – Simulates a journey into outer space, making visitors feel like astronauts. Revolving Restaurant The Oriental Pearl Tower’s revolving restaurant, situated at 267 meters, is one of the highest in China. The full rotation takes about 90 minutes, allowing diners to enjoy stunning 360-degree city views while indulging in a mix of international and Chinese cuisine. Night Views & Light Shows At night, the tower illuminates in dazzling colors, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. The light show changes dynamically, reflecting Shanghai’s vibrant energy. The tower’s reflection on the Huangpu River is a sight to behold, making it one of the most photographed landmarks in China.Includes
