Description

Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for rest after the long flight. Day 2: Shanghai | City Highlights Breakfast and Lunch Start with Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden of pavilions, rockeries, and ponds. Visit the nearby Old Market for local snacks and souvenirs. Walk along lively Nanjing Road, famous for both luxury shopping and street life. Ascend Shanghai Tower for sweeping skyline views, then stroll the Bund to admire historic architecture and the Huangpu River. Day 3: Shanghai | Free Day Breakfast Enjoy a day at leisure. Families often choose Shanghai Disneyland, the city zoo, Xintiandi, or local markets for shopping and fun. Day 4: Shanghai to Hangzhou | West Lake & Tea Culture Breakfast and Lunch Take a high-speed train to Hangzhou. Cruise and stroll around UNESCO-listed West Lake, surrounded by gardens, temples, and pagodas. Visit Meijiawu Tea Village, learn about Longjing tea, join farmers in picking leaves, watch pan-frying, and practice brewing your own cup. Day 5: Hangzhou to Wuzhen | Culture & Old Streets Breakfast and Lunch Start at Chenghuang Pavilion, sample lotus root starch dessert, and enjoy panoramic views of West Lake. Explore Hu Xueyan’s Former Residence, once home to a famous merchant and philanthropist. Stroll along Qinghefang Old Street for snacks, souvenirs, and historic charm. In the evening, drive to Wuzhen and enjoy its magical night scenery. Day 6: Wuzhen to Suzhou | Ancient Water Town Breakfast and Lunch Discover both East and West Scenic Areas of Wuzhen. The East is known for preserved heritage and workshops, while the West offers tranquil waterways and stone houses. Later, board a high-speed train to Suzhou with your guide’s assistance. Day 7: Suzhou | Classical Gardens & Rickshaw Ride Breakfast and Lunch Begin with the Humble Administrator’s Garden, a Ming-dynasty masterpiece centered around ponds and pavilions. Visit the Master of the Nets Garden, smaller but exquisitely designed. Enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride through Suzhou’s historic neighborhoods, then wander Pingjiang Road, a lively old street with canals, shops, and eateries. Day 8: Suzhou to Shanghai | Departure Breakfast Transfer to Shanghai Airport (approx. 2 hours) for your outbound flight.
