Description

Day 1: Arriving in Shanghai Arrive at Shanghai Airport, meet your tour representative, and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy free time to explore this dynamic city on your own. Day 2: Shanghai – Wuxi Begin the day at the Lujiazui Skywalk with views of Shanghai’s iconic skyline. En route to Wuxi, stop at Hui-style Ancient Village Food Street for a taste of traditional flavors. Later, stroll through the tranquil Qingming Bridge Water Alley. Optional: Nianhua Bay Zen Town Tour – Explore serene temples, gardens, and tea houses in a peaceful Zen retreat (pay on-site). Day 3: Wuxi – Nanjing Start at Changguangxi Wetland Park, then visit the Taihu Pearl Museum to learn about pearl cultivation. In Nanjing, explore the Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River Scenic Area, followed by the historic Laomendong Cultural District, filled with traditional architecture and handicrafts. Day 4: Nanjing – Suzhou Visit the Shitoucheng Archaeological Park to discover ancient ruins, then view exquisite jade carvings at the Jade Artifacts Exhibition Center. Continue to Suzhou’s UNESCO-listed Couple’s Garden for a quiet escape among classic Chinese pavilions and ponds. Optional: Suzhou Qili Shantang Street Boat Tour – Glide past canals, whitewashed homes, and old markets in Suzhou’s “Venice of the East” (pay on-site). Day 5: Suzhou – Hangzhou Explore the Silk Culture Museum to learn the process from cocoon to cloth and admire ancient silk garments. Then head to Hangzhou and visit Chenghuang Pavilion, offering panoramic views of the city and West Lake. Optional: West Lake Impression Show – Directed by Zhang Yimou, this lakeside performance blends dance, lights, and legends on water (pay on-site). Day 6: Hangzhou – Shanghai Experience tea culture at Meijiawu Tea Village, then visit the G20 City Balcony for sweeping views of the Qiantang River. At the Health Preservation Center, learn about wellness traditions rooted in Chinese philosophy. Return to Shanghai for free time at Nanjing Road, the city’s premier shopping street. Optional: Huangpu River Night Cruise – See Shanghai’s skyline light up, from the colonial Bund to futuristic Pudong towers (pay on-site). Day 7: Leaving Shanghai Enjoy some free time in the morning for final exploration or shopping. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
