Masala Art

This is just one over hyped place. Waiters are very rude. When I went inside asking for a table nobody even responded. I had to wait for a while. Finally when I was seated and ordered food, it took forever to arrive. Food was very average. They had given a description about a tea I was very much interested. But when they got it, it was just a tea bag dipped in hot water. There was a huge Indian tourists group. They were literally on top of their voices yelling and shouting wch made experience even horrible. Definitely not recommended place.
I spent a week in Shanghai and visited Masala Art several times, trying a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The food was consistently excellent, and the service was just as impressive—attentive and welcoming every time. I can’t really comment on pricing since I haven’t explored many Indian restaurants in China, but purely in terms of food quality and service, this place stands out. If you’re in Shanghai and craving Indian cuisine, I’d definitely recommend giving Masala Art a try.
Nice place, the meats and the fishes are awesome. Cool cheesecake. The staff is serious and competent. Superb experience. Service is a bit slow, medium prices
Food taste is great. I tried butter naan, paneer butter masala and alugobhi curry. But prices felt to be too expensive. Recommend their Mango Lassi. Ambiance was nice.
