I was there in the afternoon, service quick, friendly. IPA was great and food good, if a little pricy. One of the few micro breweries still in existence in Shanghai. Liquid Laundry and Boxing Cat closed down a long time ago. Don’t believe Google Maps and go look for them, as I did today 😅😅
First off, I really enjoyed the Duck Duck Session IPA and the Fresh hops Parallel 31 IPA. Problems though are as follows:- Incredibly hard to order a beer at the bar despite there being hardly anyone around. The staff just ignored me for ages. The chips were lukewarm The Happy Hour strangely didn’t apply to my beers , no good explanation was given, so my advice is to clearly check when you order. It gave the place a very dodgy smell! It’s a large bar, and most people were ordering coffee of all things- so don’t expect too much from the atmosphere. With better management it could be a good place as very few proper bars around here.
The bar are beautiful, the atmosphere is great And the food is delicious, the prices are a bit high, but the service is not very impressive. There are no free refills of water. I would expect the service to be better. Although I like the atmosphere and food here, I will definitely not return.
